Sad news: The New York Patriots have just Fired one of their best players

Following a dismal start to the season against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4, New England Patriots supporters were calling for significant changes this season. In the third quarter, the Cowboys had a 31-3 lead thanks to a terrible performance by quarterback Mac Jones.

With Trevon D ggs out of the game, Jones was 12/21 for 150 yards and two interceptions halfway through the third quarter against the Cowboys defense. The Patriots, who finished the regular season without making the playoffs and enter Week 5 with a 3-1 record, will begin to feel the pressure.

We are bad. Mac is bad. Oline is awful. Receivers are awful. Most significantly, general manager Bill Belichick is awful at his job and ought to be fired at the end of the current season for his appalling roster management. Billy O’s play calling is terrible.

Could someone please explain to me why Patriots coach Bill Belichick hasn’t been fired? The Patriots have been awful since Brady left, and the Cowboys are now crushing them.
