Due to his wife, the all-time Buffalo Bills player officially announce his retirement
Damar Hamlin, a defensive end for the Bills, is retiring from the NFL after ten seasons. The club declared Kelsay’s retirement on Wednesday, the 33-year-old said.
Throughout his career, the 6′ 4 and 263-pound Kelsay played all 120 games as a starter for Buffalo. 32.5 sacks and 440 tackles were recorded by him. Kelsay played in nine games during his final campaign, starting four of them. His season was ended by a neck injury.
According to a story that appeared on the Bills website, Kelsay stated, “One of my goals was to finish my career with the team that drafted me, and that came to fruition.” “To say that, I feel incredibly fortunate.”
The Bills say that Kelsay played in 147 games in his career, which ranks 16th in team history. He was selected by the Bills in the second round of the 2003 draft—the same draft that saw Buffalo acquire Willis McGahee.
