Nothing stings more than losing handily to venerable opponents in the postseason. Well, maybe being forced into a seventh game when the series could have ended with a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home victory in game six.

The Sixers’ lopsided loss to Boston on Sunday gave supporters exactly that.

Joe Mazzulla, the coach of the Celtics, had described the conclusion of the Eastern Conference semifinals as a “war.” Despite the 112–88 bloodbath score, it was worse than it appeared. It was awkward.

I can’t help but think of Game 6 while I watch this thrashing. The Sixers wasted a fantastic chance right there on their home court.

The Beard, who was once hailed as the Sixers’ savior and who demonstrated his ability by putting on outstanding performances in some of this year’s playoff games, simply did not show up for Game 7. He finished with a massive nine points, having only scored six in the first half.

Right now, everyone is criticizing Harden and Embiid. Guess what, though? Our only shot at a championship is with them. Hardening the removal would be utterly foolish. There isn’t another choice that is superior to his. With a new coach who will get more out of him, I would adore to see him return.

Whether or not he is a coach deserving of the Hall of Fame, his record in the NBA playoffs is dismal. Regretfully, Doc has a history of losing playoff series. Despite having a 3-1 or 3-2 lead at the beginning, his team has lost seven times. That depressing trend now includes the Sixers.

Now, in seven playoff series where he had a 3-1 or 3-2 lead, Doc Rivers has lost. tweet.com/F6drtQco0V

The idea of faulting rivers is not new. Prezz Carter’s diss song from October 2022 was going viral. He raps, “A true coach wouldn’t have Harden baiting for calls.”

Doc is their chosen scapegoat. You all know how much I detest Doc, but he isn’t to blame for this. This is Tobias, Harden, Maxey, and the MVP’s fault.

I wouldn’t even give them an opportunity to fire me if I were Doc Rivers. I’ll simply resign immediately following the game! Even a blind man can tell that this isn’t him. His two stars simply mean quiet.

After finally taking home the league MVP award, Embiid was met with criticism from extremely disgruntled supporters who had watched him develop since the beginning of the Process era, only to fall short again.

In this crucial Game 7, he only managed 13 points in the first half and another 2 in the second.

How Doc Rivers was in the locker room following the Sixers’ crushing defeat in Game 7 by the Celtics tweet.

It is not typical. Embiid averaged 33.1 points per game in the regular season; in this series, he only scored 23.7, the biggest drop-off by the MVP of that year in NBA history.

When Al Horford is watching over Embiid, there’s fear in his eyes. Put him through to Ben Simmon’s counselor.

Fans were furious not just about Joel’s offensive output but also about his poor defense.

Everyone was at a loss for an explanation, even Embiid. Some supporters remembered that he was recovering from an injury.

However, there are still supporters of Embiid who point the finger at Sixers management, claiming they never assembled the proper team to give Embiid a fair chance.

I understand why some are angry with Embiid, but throughout his entire career, losers have surrounded him! The entire period of Ben Simmons, Harden, Doc, and Morey’s tanking! Getting winners was never the #Sixers’ top priority. Individuals who have previously won championships!
