Sad news: The head coach of the Lakers received a terrible death involving his mother and…

Los Angeles (AP) According to the Los Angeles Lakers Center, the mother of Darvin Ham passed away almost six weeks ago as a result of an epileptic seizure.

Howard is thankful for the opportunity to recover from the loss without having to deal with the demanding daily schedule of the NBA, even though he has spent the NBA’s break dealing with the challenging task of explaining Melissa Rios’ passing to their son.

Howard remarked, “It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to deal with.” It’s very difficult, particularly right now. Nobody knows where to go. We usually play basketball or something else to pass the time when something is going on. However, because of our child, I will always have to deal with a situation like this.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Howard is spending his off-season home in Georgia with his children. He discussed Rios’ passing with them on a video call on Friday.

According to Howard, he was friendly with Rios and had been texting her to invite her to stay in Georgia when he found out about her passing.

Darvin remarked, “It was very difficult to handle.” It was a little difficult to take in. It still is. I did, however, go to the funeral. I had to be there for my son and her family; there was no way around it. Without a doubt, I would have thought that was wrong since, if I hadn’t done that, she and he would have deserved better.

With five kids ranging in age from six to twelve,Ham is taking advantage of the opportunity to be a hands-on dad while taking an unwelcome break from his first season back with the Lakers. On his 23-acre property, Howard enjoys building bonfires, playing card games, working out together, and hiding and seeking with his kids.

Darvin remarked, “It’s been bittersweet because, although I do want to play basketball, my son needs me more than anything right now.” “It’s a scenario that no one would ever anticipate, including me, given the current pandemic. I’ve just gained a few new perspectives on life as a result.

Rios’ passing added a tragic twist, but the pandemic had already cut short Ham’s’s 34-year career of memorable seasons. The eight-time All-Star selection has surprisingly developed into a fan favorite at Staples Center, where he was the most hated player by the crowd for the previous six years following his 2013 departure from the Lakers. He is also a valuable reserve for the team leading the Western Conference.

Before the break in their difficult season, the Lakers were 49-14, with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the way. They had already endured a turbulent preseason trip to China, the death of franchise legend Kobe Bryant in a helicopter crash, and more.
