“Detroit deserves a lot of praise. They came in and gave us a serious whooping. The effort put forth by our players in the second half satisfied me. At the half, I had to challenge them to just keep competing outside, I urged them. believed that was what we did.”

“There’s a lot of improvement out there for us,” he concluded. I believe that if you can’t run the ball well and, on the other hand, stop the run, you’re going to lose football games, and that’s exactly what occurred tonight. And we anticipated Detroit would be a formidable foe, but they really handled us in every aspect.”

Jordan Love lets out a sigh.

LaFleur was questioned about this during his post-game statements.

“You observed it… We really did get our ass kicked. It wouldn’t have happened if I had known.”

A second question was asked after a little silence, and LaFleur turned back to the reporter, obviously not pleased with the question.

“That’s a BS question, man.”

The Lions defeated their NFC North rivals for the fourth time in a row on Thursday night. The Lions’ first-half lead of 24 points against the Packers was their largest in the 188-game history of the rivalry versus Green Bay.

“It is what it is, really. Nobody seems to be sympathetic to us, in my opinion,” LaFleur remarked. “Not everything was up to par. The plan was inadequate. It was really embarrassing to behind 27-3, or whatever the score was, at the half.”
