Good news: The Ajax head coach says that is a must; they must add a vital striker to…
For the upcoming football season, adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE +3.22%) has unveiled a number of eye-catching kits, including Manchester United’s home and away uniforms, Roma’s return to the Three Stripes, and Ajax’s vintage home uniform.
Speaking of the latter, Ajax has unveiled their third uniform for the forthcoming season, drawing inspiration from the legendary youth program of the team.
Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten, Frank Rijkaard, Dennis Bergkamp, and other legendary players have all emerged from the club known as “De Toekomst,” which is Dutch for “The Future.” Other bright new talents include Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt, and Sergino Dest, a Dutchman who plays internationally for the United States.
The all-black uniform, which was inspired by the shape of a diamond, has a sparkling pattern across the chest and silver accents at the sponsor, crest, and branding.
Never one to back down from a marketing campaign, the team also included former Ajax striker and Finland international Jari Litmanen in a lookbook inspired by Uncut Gems. The new Ajax 23/24 Third Kit is available for purchase at the club’s online store for $110 USD.
