Don deal; a deal that the Ajax  had been waiting for years has been completed

In his most recent piece for the Daily Briefing, transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano stated that Arsenal is one of the top teams scouting Ajax wonderkid Jorrel Hato.

Even though nothing much more substantial than that is happening right now, Romano revealed that he has been aware of the Gunners’ interest in Hato for some time in an exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for the story.

The 17-year-old, who can play left or center back, appears to be the most gifted player to come through Ajax’s academy. He might fit in well at the Emirates Stadium, but it appears that he will first need to sign a contract extension with his current team.

Romano claims that Hato is now just a few details away from signing a new contract with Ajax, one that isn’t anticipated to contain a release clause.
