The Green Bay Packers’ coach, Matt LaFleur, is being arrested for allegedly abusing his wife and…
When Matt LaFleur’s Packers play the Jets, it will be somewhat of a “LaFleur” family reunion. Since they both coached at Central Michigan, Robert Saleh, the head coach of New York, has been his best friend. His brother Mike is the team’s offensive coordinator. Even though it raises the emotional stakes, in the end, it’s not that important. Cody Krupp of Fox 11 has more.
It has felt like an extremely long week, as head Packers safety Darnell Savage puts it. The Packers are eager to leave Lambeau Field and move on from the events that transpired in London on Sunday.
“I anticipate that normal period of time where it gets really hot. Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Packers, stated, “I think it’s really close to getting this thing going, and hopefully it starts this week.”
That’s the main reason why Sunday’s game against the NY Jets matters, but it matters even more to head coach Matt LaFleur because of who he is observing and seeing on the other sidelines.

“Look he’s going against his brother and his best friend, this game for sure means more to him,” Rodgers stated.
“In the end, you detest humiliating your friend in this league, but it is what it is. In particular, I think I speak with my brother nearly every day during a normal week. Not talking nearly as much this week,” stated LaFleur, the head coach of the Packers.
“A lot of times we are not even talking about football, usually on Monday’s we do as he critiques my play calling or you should have done this more and it’s all constructive criticism,” Mike LaFleur, offensive coordinator for the New York Jets,
“I am not going to give him any pointers the week that we are playing each other either,” Matt said.
“That’s what kind of stunk about Monday is we didn’t’ do that but we definitely get to do that Monday and every week after that,” Mike said.
“He’s like a brother,” Robert Saleh, head coach of the NY Jets, said.
but not this week? a reporter questioned.
“Not this week.” “I doubt that either of us, in that tiny office at Central Michigan, could have imagined that we would be here today,” Saleh remarked.
