Good news: The head coach of the Panthers surprised an all-time great player for…

The NFL’s most lucrative contract was given to the new head coach of the Carolina Panthers this week, and the deal is generously seven years long in an industry notorious for its hasty firings.

Some NFL owners are very hands-on, and some are very hands-off, as Carolina Panthers head coach Frank Reich stated on Monday. And it’s clear that the owner of Reich’s team belongs in the latter group, even before Reich arrived in Charlotte.

Reich was questioned on Monday regarding owner David Tepper’s temperament in the midst of his dismal 0–5 start to the season. Even though what he said wasn’t particularly shocking, it was nonetheless fascinating.

“Speak with him several times a week. After a game, we usually talk on Monday or Tuesday,” he answered. He’s also fiercely competitive. hopes to introduce a victor to the Carolinas. He desires it right now. desires it immediately. and drives us toward that goal, as well as me. He’s determined to turn every stone, no matter the cost. To create a winning football, he should turn it as much as necessary. I therefore value those discussions because they’re usually really difficult. He has an intense sense of competition. He won’t stand by and do nothing.

Reich subsequently included the subsequent information:

“There are various ownership philosophies. Some owners barely interact at all, kind of staying out of the way. So do other proprietors. And he will engage is his guiding philosophy.
