Another terrible news hit the Seahawks as Mike Macdonald has sorrowfully announced…

A major coaching transition is underway at a division opponent of the Seattle Seahawks.

The San Francisco 49ers are firing defensive coordinator Steve Wilks in the wake of their Sunday 25-22 overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, according to reports on Wednesday from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After leading 10-0 at the break, the 49ers were outscored 22–12 in the second half. Although Kyle Shanhan’s offense is also worthy of criticism for settling for field goals in overtime and late in the fourth quarter, the defense should take some of the blame for allowing Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to have his way throughout the game.

Aden Durde was hired by the Seahawks this week, marking the team’s first defensive coordinator under head coach Mike Macdonald. Meanwhile, the 49ers are currently searching for a replacement.

JAMAL ADAMS TO IR DEC 30 According to reports from the NFL Network, the Seattle Seahawks have placed receiver Dee Eskridge and safety Jamal Adams on injured reserve.

Due to a knee injury, Adams has missed the last two games, which the Seahawks have won. If Seattle wins its remaining two games, it may still qualify for the playoffs, but it will now have to do so without Adams.

Adams recorded 48 total tackles this season in nine games, along with two passes defended.

DEC 24 DAMAGED BROOKS Due to an ankle injury, linebacker Jordyn Brooks of the Seattle Seahawks is doubtful to play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, according to the organization.

In the second quarter, the Titans are ahead 7-3.

DEC 16 FINES FOR MORE SEAHAWKS Because of his ejectable acts during the Week 14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf was fined by the NFL once more on Saturday.

But there are two other Seahawks who are a little less wealthy.

Seahawks rookie receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and running back DeeJay Dallas are being fined by the NFL, according to the weekly league-wide penalties report available to the public.

While Dallas is also facing a $6,297 fine for unnecessary roughness, Smith-Njigba faces a $11,473 fine for the same offense.

On Monday night, the Seahawks take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Lumen Field.

DEC 10 HOT START DK METCALF Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf reached the end zone early on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium, just like he did in the devastating defeat to the Dallas Cowboys last week.

Due to Geno Smith’s injury, quarterback Drew Lock was starting for the Seahawks for the first time; yet, Metcalf connected with Metcalf on a 31-yard reception to equal the 49ers’ first drive score.

DEC 9: Seattle Seahawks finalized their safety nets Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams, who engaged in some on-field altercations with Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson during Seattle’s 41-35 loss to Dallas on November 30, have each been fined $10,927 for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Ferguson’s penalties for the incident was $5,812.

Following a catch and a scramble for more yards by Ferguson, Diggs and Adams both got in his face and probably said some hurtful things.

With 4:37 remaining in the game, Ferguson scored the game’s winning 12-yard touchdown, and the Seahawks went down 41–35. CeeDee Lamb, a great receiver for the Cowboys in his second season, burned Adams, Diggs, and the Seattle secondary.

Here’s a look at the performance that led to the penalties.:

CHARBONNET SCORE FOR NOV. 30 In Thursday Night Football, Zach Charbonnet, a rookie running back for the Seattle Seahawks, scored his first touchdown under the lights against the Dallas Cowboys.

Following two Dallas defensive penalties that put the Seahawks at the one-yard line and gave Charbonnet a clear path to the end zone. Dallas’ advantage was now just 17–14.

Charbonnet is making his second career start in lieu of Kenneth Walker III, who is sidelined due to an oblique injury.

SEAHAWKS VET WRS COME TO RESCUE AGAINST COMMANDERS ON NOV. 13 – The production and talent infusion of rookie receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jake Bobo from Seattle has received a lot of attention. But the Seahawks’ veteran players reminded everyone that they are still capable of big plays when the chips were down on the Commanders on Sunday.

and continue to triumph in matches.

In Seattle’s thrilling 29-26 victory at Lumen Field, Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf produced the game-winning plays while the rookies were limited to a relatively quiet six receptions for 66 yards.

Lockett was instrumental in one of Seattle’s last touchdown drives, collecting all four targets for 52 yards and the game-winning touchdown. He completed the game with eight receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown. Furthermore, with less than a minute remaining in the game, Geno Smith found wide out Metcalf twice for 44 yards after Seattle’s defense allowed the Commanders to level the score at 26–26.

As time ran out, those catch-and-runs set up Jason Myers’s fifth field goal of the day. Metcalf and Lockett combined for fifteen catches and ninety-nine yards.

Pete Carroll, the coach of the Seahawks, stated following the game, “Tyler and DK made the big plays in there.” “DK had an amazing day. Tyler was the star of the day.

Who has formally left for Seattle is as follows:

WR Dee Eskridge

Kenny McIntosh, RB

Curtis T. McClendon

Bradford, G. Anthony

O’Neal, T Raiqwon

Adams, DT Myles

Who is formally absent for Washington is as follows:

SEAHAWKS INJURY REPORT, NOV. 9 In front of their matchup with the Washington Commanders on Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks have released their injury report for Thursday.

After listing seven players as DNP on Wednesday, Seattle only had four players sitting on Thursday.

Oddly enough, the only person with DNP noted who was also out on Wednesday was Jordyn Brooks. After being either limited or a full participant on Wednesday, DK Metcalf (hip), Anthony Bradford (knee), and Mario Edwards Jr. (rest) were all added as new entries to the DNP section of the injury report.

Here’s our Corbin K. Smith’s complete injury report.

DEEJAY DALLAS HURT ON NOV. 5 In the third quarter of Sunday’s game at M&T Bank Stadium between the Seattle Seahawks and the Baltimore Ravens, running back DeeJay Dallas was hurt.

The Seahawks declared that Dallas’s return is uncertain due to a shoulder injury. The team trainers took his right arm and led him to the locker room.

Dallas has gained 14 yards on five rushes and 11 yards on four receptions so far this season. In addition, he has returned nine kickoffs for 231 yards and fourteen punts for 178 yards.

15 DK Metcalf to Locker Room on October In the latter minutes of Sunday’s game at Paycor Stadium between the Seattle Seahawks and the Cincinnati Bengals, wide receiver DK Metcalf of the latter team appeared to have an injury and had to go to the locker room.

With a hip injury, Metcalf’s return is uncertain, according to the Seahawks. After tumbling hard to the ground during an attempted grab at the pylon in the third quarter, it seemed as though he had injured his hip.

After the game on Sunday, he had two receptions for thirty yards.

OCT. 9: 49ERS SEND MESSAGE TO REST OF NFC AND SEAHAWKS – The 49ers are the NFC team to beat, and that message has been sent to the Seahawks, the Eagles, the reigning conference winners, and the Cowboys in particular. Following their commanding 42-10 thumping of Dallas on Sunday night, San Francisco made it quite clear that Seattle’s route in the West passes via northern California.

No team has played better football through the first month of the season than the 49ers, who are 5-0 and have won every game in the previous two seasons under quarterback Brock Purdy’s leadership. The Seahawks have won three straight games, but if they want to stay up with San Francisco, they don’t have much room for error.

Thanksgiving night in Seattle is when the 49ers and Seahawks meet. They naturally dropped all three meetings from the previous season, most notably a Wild Card playoff game 41-23.

OCT 3, SWIFTIE, SEATTLE? NFL fans were glued to MetLife Stadium in New York (actually, New Jersey) this past weekend as the Chiefs defeated the Jets on Sunday and the Seahawks thrashed the Giants, 24-3, on Monday.

Everyone is obsessed with Taylor Swift.
Everyone is obsessed with Taylor Swift.

Why is everyone buzzing? Of course, Taylor Swift, whose romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has made her the focus of attention in the NFL. The pop sensation made an appearance at the Sunday game despite missing the Monday one. How?

due to the fact that Seahawks assistant coach Carl Smith entered the building on Monday sporting a Taylor Swift “Eras Tour” shirt.

It was not a presence on par with “Beast Quake.” It will have to do though.

AUGUST 2023 Together, coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider of the Seattle Seahawks are currently in charge of one of the NFL’s most talented teams. ..

There is constant construction. Consequently, neither does our coverage of Seattle at All Seahawks at SI.com.

RB DEEJAY DALLAS OF THE SEAHAWKS SIGNALING HIS RELEASE ON AUG. 28? Running back DeeJay Dallas of the Seahawks is expected to make the team’s final 53-man roster based on our calculations. He benefits Pete Carroll’s club with his performance on special teams and his versatility as a third-down specialist.

Dallas seemed to be unsure of his position, though, as seen by some cryptic tweets he wrote over the weekend that seemed to indicate his time in Seattle was up. Dallas tweeted “Can’t wait to see what the future holds” on Saturday afternoon. However, he wrote, “Such is life,” on his own post a few hours after Seattle’s preseason loss to the Packers, in which he ran for 43 yards and caught a pass.
