After another health crisis that kept him out of the TV booth for two years, Meyer decided to take a job as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday.
The agreement was signed soon after their third and last meeting in a span of seven days. Shad Khan, the owner of the franchise, had been eyeing the 56-year-old Meyer for weeks, if not months. They had first met at the facility on Thursday, then again aboard Khan’s yacht in Miami on Friday.
