Unfortunately, the head coach of Houston officially decided to terminate his contract due to…

According to a report, Deshaun Watson reported to the Houston Texans’ training camp on Sunday, and the team is currently considering trade offers.

It appears that the Texans, who had previously refused to deal with Watson, have changed their minds and may be convinced to do so. According to reports, the Texans are searching for several first-round selections as well as more players who can start right away.

According to several sources who spoke with me and @RapSheet, the #Texans are open to considering trade offers for star quarterback Deshaun Watson and have been for some time. However, it should come at a high cost for a player of his caliber. It would probably require three first-round selections, if not more.

The standout quarterback showed up for camp in order to avoid paying a $50,000 fine for each day he missed. The NFL and the Houston Police Department are still looking into the fifth-year veteran, who has been accused of sexual assault and misconduct during massage sessions on several occasions. He’s been hit with a civil suit.

As of right now, Watson is not facing any criminal charges; the civil case is still pending.

Watson reportedly stated before the accusations of sexual misconduct that he still wants to be traded. In addition to signing quarterbacks Tyrod Taylor and Jeff Driskel as free agents and choosing quarterback Davis Mills with their third-round (No. 67) pick in the 2021 NFL draft, the Texans had previously declared they would not trade Watson.

Few teams are willing to trade Watson to the Texans for the kind of draft capital and current talent they desire. Some teams might object to parting with so much of their present and future roster for a player who might face league suspension. Watson is only 25 years old, so he still has a lot of productive seasons left in his career, and the suspension will eventually end.
