BREAKING NEWS: GREEN BAY PACKERS IS SET TO SIGN AN INCREDIBLE, FANTASTIC QB

We’ll now look at the Green Bay Packers in the final installment of our NFC North fantasy football preview as players you should surely pick up early and often this fantasy season. Now that Rodgers is back in the fold, there are many reasons to be excited about the Packers offensive this season. Here’s where I get to wax poetic about the likelihood of a fantastic Packers offense.

We have already examined the guys you should avoid and draft from the Bears, Vikings, and Lions.

Now let’s discuss the first clear-cut “must draft” player:

Aaron Rodgers, quarterback
Without a doubt, Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the league. There’s a small myth that Rodgers is prone to injuries due of his broken collarbone from the previous season, but it’s untrue. It’s not as though Rodgers has any problems with his back or knees. In sports when big men collide with other big men, broken bones occur. And in my opinion, being injured in 2017 and then four years earlier hardly defines someone who is prone to injuries.

Although there is still some wiggle room in the targets hierarchy, Joe Philbin’s return is an indication of explosive offensive potential. When Rodgers was the offensive coordinator for the Packers in 2011, he passed for 4,643 yards, 45 touchdowns, and three more rushes, which helped him approach 500 fantasy points. Although that year’s pass catchers were great, getting close would still be worth the high-round pick.
