The miami dolphins traded one of the youngest player in the entire NFL, who has 3,000 passing yards and threw 30 touchdowns
Florida’s Miami Gardens (AP) — It might just be a coincidence. Perhaps as the Miami Dolphins were getting healthier, the schedule became a little bit easier. Or maybe a few breaks had to start going their way because of the law of averages.
Rather than making a bold move to sign troubled Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson or cutting big players to make room for future acquisitions, the Dolphins exchanged an antiquated mindset for a modern one. Coach Brian Flores told the team it was going to play a different way after they were 1-7 that week.
Since then, the Dolphins are 3-0.
“Everyone was aware that a change was necessary,” stated cornerback Elijah Campbell.
A lot has. Although their 4-7 record and 13th-place AFC ranking don’t exactly warrant a celebration, a recent three-game winning streak has given them some optimism.
Flores remarked, “I think we’re just playing better and having better execution.” “We performed better, I believe, and we prepared and practiced better. That is the equation. Although we are free to explore other topics, that is the formula I am aware of and have observed.

Flores said, “We can get into other things,” and he tipped his hand. He keeps state secrets to himself. He hardly ever shares the outcomes of team meetings. When things go well, he doesn’t want credit, but when they don’t, he’s the first to take responsibility.
Nevertheless, whether he likes it or not, what he said in that team meeting altered the course.
The three NFL teams that are allowing the fewest points in November are the Dolphins (12 points per game), Kansas City (11.8 points per game), and New England (4.3 points per game). Not coincidentally, the only NFL teams with winning streaks longer than Miami’s are the Patriots and Chiefs.
Dolphins defensive tackle Raekwon Davis said, “When we all come together and are communicating, just everybody on the same page, it’s a great thing.” “Everyone is just in agreement.”
To be fair, the Dolphins’ current three-game winning streak hasn’t exactly come against a trio of elite players in the NFL. After a 22-10 victory over Miami, Baltimore is most likely headed to the postseason; however, the New York Jets and Houston, who lost to the Dolphins 24-17 on Sunday, don’t appear to be postseason contenders.
