Complete Shock: The Cleveland Browns are in complete disarray after two of their most devoted players abruptly left in anger following their recent misunderstanding with Stefanski because of…
The Cleveland Browns‘ 2023 season has been extremely unpredictable. After starting quarterback Deshaun Watson’s season ended in November, there looked to be little hope left. However, Joe Flacco came out of nowhere to lead the Browns to four wins in five games, earning the team’s first postseason trip since 2020.
There are many reasons to be optimistic about the Browns’ future, regardless of how the season turns out. However, not everyone can be certain of participating in it. Ultimately, with the summer approaching in a few months, Cleveland supporters will undoubtedly have to bid farewell to a few familiar names.
These five Browns are most likely going to be moving out of Cleveland in 2019.
Five Browns Most Likely Out by 2024: 1. QB P.J. Walker
When I suggest that P.J. Walker shouldn’t be on the roster in 2024, I believe I speak for the majority of Browns fans.
The former leader in passing yards in the 2020 XFL simply lacks the necessary skills to succeed as an NFL quarterback. Walker has failed miserably every time the Browns have tried to use him, throwing 674 yards of passing with one touchdown and five interceptions in six games (2 starts) with a completion percentage of 48.6%.
Walker isn’t exactly at an age where improvement is anticipated—he turns 29 in February. The Browns don’t need to spend a roster space on him for the upcoming season since, at this point, he probably is who he is. This is especially true if they’re prepared to provide Flacco, who wants to play in 2024, another contract.
When Walker becomes available in March, I completely anticipate that he will be considered for a practice squad spot elsewhere.
