Wonderful news: Two of the NBA’s biggest players announced their interest in the Colts following the trade deadline.
The Green Bay Packers, who are hoping to move on, will probably let go of their starting left tackle from Aaron Rodgers’ era.
Brian Gutekunst, the general manager of the Packers, dislikes paying large sums of money to retain players or to sign free agents, and Bakhtari will have a cap hit of almost $40 million in 2024.
Despite missing the entire season due to injury, Bakhtari is still one of the best left tackles in the game, at 90% of his full potential. He only had five penalties and didn’t allow a single sack during his final full season, earning him elite status.
His drawback is that he’ll be 33 when the next season begins. Should the Colts exchange a third-round selection for a left tackle who is at least thirty years old?
