“We met with Trent today to discuss this unfortunate news,” a Redskins statement said. Trent will be allowed to work out at the Redskins facilities and take part in team meetings during this time, in accordance with the policy.
“When Trent returns from suspension, the Redskins are counting on him to assist our team. This coming weekend, following our bye, we will shift our attention to the Minnesota Vikings.”
