The Foxes to endure a significant setback as Enzo Maresca launches a terrible….

Ben Nelson was named in Leicester City‘s starting lineup for the first time in a Championship game on Saturday, when the Foxes defeated Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road. Enzo Maresca claimed that this was a “quite easy” decision. Nelson was selected over Conor Coady to partner Wout Faes at the center of defense in place of the injured Jannik Vestergaard, who is expected to return next week.

Nelson, who is still only 19 years old, made his first appearance in the first team in December and signed a new long-term deal with the team. Last month, Maresca gave Nelson his full league debut for City after he took a chance in the FA Cup. Nelson finished an hour and appeared fairly at ease at this senior level, but Maresca, who’really likes’ Nelson, is aware that there is more going on beneath the surface that will come to light eventually.

Regarding the request to include Nelson, Maresca stated, “The manager has to make the decision.” “They’re not always good, but sometimes they are. It’s very simple with Ben. I think he’s great. He is still 50–60% in my opinion since he has the ability to be much bolder with the ball. Even though he’s only 19 and still needs to work on a lot of things, he still exhibits some shyness, so I’m pleased with his performance.”

In order to counter the Hornets’ threats, Maresca, who will see Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday at the King Power Stadium this coming week, also gave midfielder Dennis Praet and the adaptable James Justin starts: “The first XI on Saturday, JJ played because their wingers are very quick, very good.” Dennis is a good player who adds more physicality to our midfield and is playing well.”
