After months of rumors, the Wests Tigers boss is fired, sparking a storm.
The Wests Tigers are unexpectedly back in the center of chaos after a week of nothing but good news.

With only good news to report for a week, the Wests Tigers are back in disarray.

According to reports, the struggling NRL team called Scott Fulton, the head of recruitment, on Tuesday to announce his firing.

The Daily Telegraph was the first to disclose that Fulton has been informed that his skills are no longer needed by new Tigers CEO Shane Richardson.

It comes after months of speculation about Fulton’s connection to coach Benji Marshall.

Fulton was notably brought on by the team last year to take over as head of recruitment and retention; Marshall and former coach Tim Sheens were not consulted in this decision.

Numerous reports state that there was friction between Marshall and Fulton from the beginning. Marshall opposed the club’s pursuit of Manly five-eighth Josh Schuster, which was allegedly driven by Fulton.
