Bad news: John Harbaugh, the coach of the Ravens, began fighting after seeing his brother win the national title because he wanted it for himself.
John Harbaugh, the coach of the Baltimore Ravens, hopes to repeat the celebration he experienced on Monday night when he watched his brother Jim lead Michigan to a national championship in the Super Bowl next month. Even though his team is the AFC’s top seed and is off this weekend, John was still piqued by the thrill of Jim Harbaugh’s victory.
“Your brother gets something, sibling, like any brother would; you want it too, don’t you?” On Wednesday, John Harbaugh said. You get caught up in the joy, the tears, the confetti, and the celebration. And then it just slowly clicks. Man, I truly want our team to go through this. I really want our team to go through this.

To complete their Super Bowl roster, the Chiefs placed LG Joe Thuney on injured reserve and activated RB Jerick McKinnon.

Although the 49ers and Chiefs have well-known offenses, the Super Bowl winner should be determined by defense.
The Ravens prefer not to plan too far in advance. A week and a half remains until their postseason debut, in which they could play against any of four potential opponents. John Harbaugh was able to go to Houston to watch his brother’s team defeat Washington to win the college football championship this past weekend because he had no game to prepare for.
On TV, the Baltimore coach could be seen embracing his brother while the game was going on.
John Harbaugh remarked, “I’d been down there for about five or ten minutes of the game, and they were going; he was working.” He was about ten feet away from me when the ball came that way, and there was a timeout. That’s my opportunity, I think.
As Jim was the coach of the San Francisco 49ers at the end of the 2012 season, John Harbaugh already had one Super Bowl victory under his belt. The Ravens have since lost two of their five playoff games, but this year’s squad had the best record in the NFL during the regular season.

The Ravens will practice at the stadium this Saturday, according to Harbaugh.
“We felt that would, as far as pace goes, kind of put us in a groove like you were playing a game this weekend,” he explained.
Recently, the Ravens signed running back Dalvin Cook to their practice squad, which was an interesting move. Before being waived, Cook, 28, ran for just 214 yards in 15 games for the New York Jets this season. After leading the Minnesota Vikings in rushing yards for four consecutive seasons, he inked a one-year contract with the Jets in the summer.
Harbaugh stated, “We see him as a very valuable, or potentially very valuable, weapon on our offense.” Dalvin Cook is a highly decorated player with a distinguished pedigree. He is still intelligent, talented, and capable. He’s in excellent shape and ready for football. He has engaged in football. He looked excellent today during practice.
In the first game of the season, running back J.K. Dobbins suffered a season-ending injury for the Ravens, and later on, rookie Keaton Mitchell suffered a knee injury. Cook might give the offense another formidable big-play option.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson stated, “Just being a dynamic player (that) he is, the sky’s the limit.” “That has no upper bound. I’m not sure. I think he’ll do what he does when given the chance and when his number is called.
