When the Green Bay Packers play the Chicago Bears, they will need every player. Even though Jordan Love can set the pace and find his groove, it never hurts to have extra power when facing Justin Fields head-to-head.

But in their most recent victory, one of the biggest names in Matt LaFleur’s wide receiving corps was missing. When they need him most in their playoff run, will Jayden Reed be available?

According to Ryan Wood of USA TODAY, Jayden Reed’s chest injury has gotten worse again. He was wincing in agony when this occurred following his fair-catch play. To pull him out, Matt LaFleur had to make a difficult choice. His injury was just too painful, but he remained committed to playing in their game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman went on to say that the Packers would assess him with a CT scan as their next course of action. Some hope remains for a potential comeback in time for their pivotal game against the Bears. However, they must first wait for the outcomes.

The Vikings will probably cut Harrison Smith.

Because of how lopsided the win was, there was once a belief that he was eliminated from the game. It appears from the case that he was unable to return because of his injury and the accompanying pain. He has plenty of time to return to the Packers offense under the direction of Jordan Love before they take on Justin Fields.

The most that supporters of the Packers can do is hope for a quick recovery for him.
