SAD News: A key Stoke player has announced his retirement due to personal problems

Bojan Krkic, a hero for Stoke City, is scheduled to visit the team at the end of April to engage in a Q&A session with Potters supporters.

The 32-year-old, who most recently played for the Japanese team Vissel Kobe, declared his retirement from the game in March.

Bojan played for a number of prestigious European teams, such as Barcelona, Roma, and Ajax. Over his five years with Stoke, he made 85 appearances and scored 16 goals.

The cost of the 300 tickets is £15, with all proceeds going to the Stoke City Community Trust. Season ticket holders can now purchase tickets. If there are still tickets available, general sales will start on Tuesday, April 18 at 9 a.m.

After that, Bojan will watch the game the next day at home against QPR, where he will participate in a brief interview and a halftime lap of honor on the field.

At the time, he said the following regarding his retirement: “These decisions are not easy. After twelve years away from home, I feel professionally fulfilled. I wanted to spend more time with my family during this next phase of my life. It’s not a medical problem. I’ve had three injuries, but each time I healed completely.

It’s a sensation; it’s the actuality. Right now, I’m more eager to do other things than to continue playing football. I am appreciative of everything that has happened to me.

“I have participated in various leagues, won trophies, and played for Barcelona in addition to playing with outstanding players. But right now, I’m prepared to start fresh.”
