Another sorrowful news: One of the Green Bay Packers top players’ wives died while pregnant.

The Shang-Chi actor disclosed that he lost his grandparents to the virus in 2021 before revealing that he had tested positive for COVID-19 in January.

“CoVID claimed my grandparents’ lives last year. On January 28, he posted on Twitter, saying, “They were still waiting for their vaccines.” “I’m lucky to have received a booster shot and a double vaccination when I contracted COVID two weeks ago. felt chilly to the touch.”

As an ambassador for UNICEF Canada, he mentioned in his tweet that he had witnessed “the organization’s efforts to deliver vaccines to underprivileged families around the world.”

“It’s a reminder of how lucky we are to be living in places where vaccine delivery and storage are not an issue,” he wrote prior to stating, “Please, PLEASE appreciate that.”

While playing, Jones wears a football pendant made of his father’s ashes around his neck as a tribute to his memory.

When Jones said to PEOPLE in January, “I thought it would be a great way to honor my father,”

The athlete’s unique jewelry creation was made possible by the grief wellness company Eterneva.

Within months of one another, the Jungle Cruise actor revealed the heartbreaking news that he had lost five loved ones to COVID-19, including his grandmother, aunt, and uncle. April 25, 2021: “My heart can’t just take more pain,” he posted on Instagram.
