Cowboys News: Dak declines to agree to a deal
During the bye week, many have used the opportunity to examine themselves in the mirror and consider potential outcomes for the remaining games of the season. A few of the most important unknowns are examined in this edition of News and Notes.
For example, will the mobile Dak Prescott of Week 6 continue to run in the future? Can Brandin Cooks sustain the momentum he gained from his season-opening touchdown? Is Jayron Kearse going to be donning the star for his final run of games? Why is Sam Williams acting so irrationally angry with his coaches?
In other sections, we’ll also examine how the Wolf Hunter’s absence has affected the Lions’ usage, whether the Cowboys should try to sign a player similar to Derrick Henry, and how Dallas’s prospects of winning the division and earning a postseason bye now appear after some unexpected NFC results.
We’ll also introduce ourselves to the four recently added members of the practice squad and discuss why one former Cowboy will not be traveling to see the Rams. That’s on top of the lengthy and convoluted path that led Will McClay to the No. 3 position at the best sports team in the world.
