SEALED: The Rangers have recently closed a huge, massive deal.
Oscar Cortes, a winger for RC Lens from Colombia, signed with Rangers on deadline day.
The 20-year-old has signed on loan to play for the rest of the season while the Ibrox team looks to maintain their European run while competing for the Premiership title and a possible domestic treble.
Adding him to the ranks of Philippe Clement’s three January window additions are Fabio Silva and Mohamed Diomande.
Only a few hours before the window closes at 11.30 p.m. on Thursday, the relocation was confirmed.
After the season, when the player’s loan term expires, Rangers will have the option to purchase the player.
Cortes, who made his lone goal of the season against Stade Reims at the end of the previous campaign, has made four appearances for the Ligue 1 team this season.

Having made his debut on the international scene last summer, coming off the bench for the final four minutes of a victory over Iraq, he has one cap for Colombia.
“I am very honored and privileged to be signing for Rangers,” Cortes said in a statement following the move’s confirmation on Thursday.
“I’ve learned a lot about the Rangers’ heritage and past, and I’ve had encouraging talks with the manager, who believes I can contribute to the team’s success this season.
“I can’t wait to play with my teammates and hopefully thrill the crowd with my style.”
“I am really delighted to add Oscar to our squad,” stated manager Clement.
“I think he will be a big asset to the squad as we fight on three fronts for the rest of the season. Our discussions have been really positive.”

“Oscar is really excited about our goals and aspirations as a team, and our forward line will welcome some competition from his skill set.”
Rangers has a game in hand over their city rivals, but they currently trail Celtic by five points at the top of the Premiership.
They are still in the Scottish Cup and Europa League, having taken home the first trophy of the season in the League Cup at the end of the previous campaign.
