After tearing his biceps during training camp, the 5-foot-10, 208-pound Elam missed the entire 2015 season. Elam has played for the Ravens for three seasons.
After suffering a knee injury during the preseason, he only participated in nine games last season, primarily as a special teams player. Elam has 131 tackles, one interception, and one half-sack in 41 career games.
Elam received a one-game suspension in October 2015 for breaking the NFL’s drug-abuse policy. At the time, he was placed on injured reserve.
