SEALED; Buffalo bills have just completed another major big monster Deal.

The Buffalo Bills‘ 2023 campaign isn’t quite over, and if they have anything to say about it, it won’t be for a few more weeks, but in the background, they’ve already started getting ready for 2024.

According to Field Yates, the Bills added former Denver Broncos receiver K.J. Hamler on Saturday, giving their offense some potentially high-reward depth.

In 2020, the 24-year-old Hamler was selected by the NFL in the second round out of Penn State. In just 13 games during his rookie campaign, the Pontiac, Michigan native caught 30 passes for 381 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating some promise right away.

But after that, Hamler’s injuries started to seriously affect him. After rupturing his ACL early in the season, he only participated in three games in 2021. A hamstring injury kept him out of the lineup for the entire 2022 season. Hamler had just 12 receptions for 239 yards in those two seasons.

The run of unfavorable events continued when Hamler sustained a partially torn pectoral muscle in March 2023. Then, in July, he declared that he had been diagnosed with pericarditis, an uncommon ailment that enlarges and irritates the membrane that surrounds the heart. After that, Hamler was waived by the Broncos due to a non-football illness.

After that, in September, Hamler signed with the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad, though he never played for them. After the regular season concluded, Hamler was once again a free agent since the Colts had not offered him a futures contract.

With the intention of reviving his career, the gifted but frequently injured receiver will now play for Buffalo in the upcoming campaign.
