Due to a lack of understanding, the most talented player for the Houston Texans has signed a new deal with a different team

When the Houston Texans faced the Indianapolis Colts in their final regular-season game, there was nothing and everything on the line.

Nothing, since both of these clubs had long since been knocked out of the playoffs and were just finishing out their seasons before facing painful resets from their respective executive offices.

However, there was also everything for the Texans, or at least the team’s stakeholders who weren’t playing or coaching on the field. Houston, who finished the season as the worst football team in the league, only needed one more loss to guarantee themselves the first pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and the opportunity to choose their future quarterback.

Although coaches and players in the NFL never intend to lose a game, in the front offices, long-term motivations can become hazy.
