Due to the lack of understanding, the most talented player for the Indianapolis Colts has signed a new deal with a different team.

Running back Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts has reportedly agreed to a $42 million, three-year contract extension.

With the $26.5 million guaranteed clause in the contract, Taylor will reportedly be among the highest-paid running backs in the NFL annually.

After a turbulent period, the #Colts and star running back Jonathan Taylor have come to terms on a massive 3-year, $42 million extension, locking him in at the top of the RB market. $26.5 million assured.

Taylor, the No. 41 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, finished first among rookies in rushing yards and then tops in the league in his second season.

Sadly, Taylor’s ankle injury plagued him the entire 2022 season, and the Colts offense crumbled as a result of a weak offensive line and appalling quarterback play. In 11 games, he was only able to muster a career-low 861 rushing yards.

The two parties were able to come to an agreement following a turbulent offseason that took place behind closed doors and involved a highly publicized contract dispute.

They can now concentrate on using their highly promising rushing attack to challenge for the division lead.
