Kyle Shanahan has just announced another monstrous addition to his team as he tend to solidify his team walls with this monumental deal..

A third-string rookie quarterback led the San Francisco 49ers to the NFC Championship game during their stellar 2022 campaign. But after Brock Purdy was hurt against the Philadelphia Eagles, the team was just unable to make it to the Super Bowl, as Philly easily advanced to the Big Game. Now that the 49ers’ offseason has officially begun, the team needs to put in some work to return to its previous level of performance. These are the three key offseason adjustments that the team needs to make in order to win the Super Bowl in 2024, including staffing problems and re-signing 49ers free agents.
The 49ers must take care of their own needs before beginning their offseason. The team has a loaded roster, and maintaining as much talent as possible is the first step towards making it to the NFC Championship game or possibly the Super Bowl for the third straight season.

Notwithstanding the abundance of talent on the team, the Niners are actually in a favorable salary cap position. Entering the 49ers offseason with $13.6 million in cap space, the team is not paying a huge quarterback contract in 2023. That ranks eleventh in the NFL.

They can re-sign important 49ers free agents with that cap space.
Security The 49ers need to retain three free agents this offseason: pass-rusher Samson Ebukam, right tackle Mike McGlinchey, and Jimmie Ward. These players are all troubled in some way. McGlinchy had his best season in a contract year, Ebukam is a mediocre pass-rusher, and Ward is old (he turns 32 this summer).

The 49ers ought to make an effort to strengthen at each of these positions; however, there aren’t many available free agents at these crucial positions, and the team lacks the draft picks necessary to acquire elite players. The best course of action is to re-sign these players for 2023.

2. Make the most of late-round draft selections Speaking of not having draft picks, the 49ers don’t select until the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, with selections Nos. 99 and 100. Thus, it appears that the Bay Area won’t be receiving any obvious Blue Chippers in April.

Nevertheless, John Lynch and company demonstrated their ability to identify genuine talent later in the selection process by selecting a starting quarterback with the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. Although selecting this late reduces margin for error, it also does not spell disaster for the 49ers draft.
