The NFL said on Monday that wide receiver Calvin Ridley of the Jacksonville Jaguars has been reinstated after serving an indefinite suspension for his involvement in NFL wagering during his 2021 season as an Atlanta Falcon.

Officials declared that Riley, who had been on an indefinite suspension for breaking the NFL’s gambling policy since March 2022, was now free to take part in all team activities.

Ridley, 28, said that his self-inflicted suspension was the result of “an isolated lapse in judgment.”

In a statement, Ridley stated, “I have always owned my mistakes, and this is no different.” “I have a lot of respect for the game and am thrilled to be starting again in Jacksonville.
