The Buffalo Bills committed player has announced an unexpected retirement leaving Sean McDemott completely perplexed.

It’s possible that Jordan Phillips’ NFL career came to an end while playing for the Buffalo Bills.

The 31-year-old Phillips has a past of injuries from his professional career. After having wrist surgery, he was placed on injured reserve, and his season ended in December.

Phillips revealed to reporters, including the Buffalo News, during locker cleanup day that he is thinking about retiring from football:

DT Jordan Phillips of the #Bills plans to think about retiring, he said.

“This could be the one.”

Phillips has ten seasons of NFL experience. In only three of those did he play through the whole season. The previous occasion occurred in 2019, the penultimate year of his initial contract with the Bills. Prior to this, Phillips signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals after leaving Buffalo.

in 14 games (2023), nine of which were starts. He finished with 2.5 sacks and 15 tackles.

In the offseason, Phillips re-signed a one-year deal with the Bills; if there is no extension, he will become a free agency in March. Updates will be provided by Bills Wire during the offseason.

ANOTHER NEWS;

In addition to giving Travis Kelce’s team a victory and garnering a ton of media attention for his elder brother, “ultimate girl dad” Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday revealed that the two NFL players are now seemingly considering retirement in distinct ways.

In the most recent episode of the NFL stars’ collaborative podcast, New Heights, which was made available on Wednesday, January 24, Jason talked about his unique tailgating experiences in the “homey” section outside the Bills stadium as well as the reason he decided to take off his shirt in the VIP box with a game view.

After talking about the enjoyable “shenanigans” he had been surrounded by during the weekend and his preparations to leave, Travis had an idea. He interrupted the conversation and proposed a new strategy for their futures together.

“It ought to be our retirement strategy,” the 34-year-old said in jest.

“Just going to tailgates?” Jason asked.

“Just tailgate in every state,” Travis answered back. “Just to see how it’s done.”

The 36-year-old center for the Eagles said, “Yes.” “Dude, you don’t really have to convince me to have a good time. I agree with that.

Although the two brothers seemed to agree about what comes after playing professional football, they also mentioned that Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, might not be too excited about going across the nation merely to attend tailgates.

Jason answered, “Yeah, well, Kylie, she was at this one.” “She doesn’t have to go to all of them.”

The conversation takes place about one week following the media’s discovery of Jason’s possible retirement, which he revealed during last week’s New Heights filming.

To his brother, Jason clarified that he “didn’t announce what [he] was going to do on purpose, despite what’s been leaked to the media.”

In lieu of confirming or refuting the rumor, the father of three gave fans the assurance that he’s “not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out.” He also promised that he will “officially announce what’s happening in the future” in a manner that is “definite and pays a lot of respect to people… that have meant a lot to me and led to the career I have.”
