Detroit Lions Team in total mess as their power point has been sidelined ahead of clash against the 49ers on Monday due to a miss….

SAN FRANCISCO: Before the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Detroit Lions had four players on the final injury report.

Jonah Jackson, a left guard, has intermittent problems throughout the season. He will be sidelined again this weekend after suffering a knee injury against the Buccaneers.

With a healthy offensive line, the Lions have become an entirely different club; nevertheless, without Jackson’s athleticism in the rushing game, their depth will be put to the test. It will be missed when he can reach the second level and convert medium gains into major plays.

Kalif Raymond, a returner, is also sidelined for the third consecutive week. Against Minnesota in the regular-season finale, he suffered a knee injury.

The complete injury report from Friday’s practice is as follows:

Jonah Jackson, the left guard, is out (knee).
Knee injury sidelines wide receiver Kalif Raymond.
Hendon Hooker, the quarterback, is dubious (tooth).
Chase Lucas, the cornerback, is dubious due to sickness.

In preparation for their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, the Detroit Lions announced their final injury report on Friday afternoon. While tight end Sam LaPorta and center Frank Ragnow carry no game designations into this week, which is good news overall, the report also contained an intriguing piece of information.

Hendon Hooker, a rookie quarterback in the third string, may not play on Sunday because of a “tooth” ailment. According to NFL Media, Hooker had to have his tooth out due to chipping, but he should recover. It’s possible to argue that he was eager to play this weekend.

The University of Tennessee third-round pick was only added to the active roster in December after suffering an ACL tear in November of last year, and he hasn’t played in a game this season. Hooker was probably knocked out in the third round because of the knee ailment.

In 2022, the 26-year-old rookie was in charge of one of college football’s most potent attacks. Tennessee scored more touchdowns (78) and averaged more yards per game (525.5) than any other team in the nation. At one point, the Vols even had the top spot in the College Football Playoff standings. Hooker passed for 3,135 yards, 27 touchdowns, and just two interceptions in 11 games during the previous season.

After Teddy Bridgewater and Jared Goff, Hooker is the third quarterback on the field, however based on the outcome of the most recent NFC Championship game, a third quarterback might be required.
