Boston Celtics Team in total mess as their power point has been sidelined ahead of clash against the LA Clippers tomorrow due to a miss….
Following his sprained ankle during the Celtics‘ 143-110 victory against the Heat on Thursday night, Kristaps Porzingis seemed to have escaped a scare.
A shot attempt by Bam Adebayo of the Heat was disputed by Porzingis halfway through the third quarter, and Adebayo’s foot was awkwardly struck by his left ankle. After going down hurting and limping to the locker room to tend to his injury, Porzingis eventually left the game. Nevertheless, he returned to the bench to sit with his teammates, and he was upbeat throughout the remainder of the Celtics’ victory.
Reporters in Miami were informed by Porzingis that he probably could have made a comeback if necessary. He also said that his injury was “not too bad” and that he was “feeling pretty good now.”
“I believe that, in general, a sprained ankle is not a big deal, so if the situation called for it, I would have played,” Porzingis said to reporters. “It’s wise to sit out at that particular point in the game,”
I am feeling fine, I am feeling fine. I believe it may swell up slightly, but we’ll wait and see how it is tomorrow before making any further decisions.
The Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla stated that they would find out more information on Friday. It is unknown how much time Porzingis will miss. On Friday afternoon, the injury report for the Clippers game on Saturday will be made public. Porzingis is hopeful that the injury is be temporary.
“Hopefully,” Porzingis remarked. “It will be more evident tomorrow, I believe, especially in light of the flight and other events. However, I’m feeling fine right now and am trying to be upbeat.
What happened to Kristaps Porzingis?
Porzingis has been a regular on the Celtics injury list. On Saturday, while attempting to block Aaron Nesmith’s shot, he hurt his right eye by getting poked and left the game midway.
