The Blackhawks star was accused of sexual assault in August 2015 by a woman who visited his residence in the Buffalo, New York, area. Following an investigation, no charges were brought. When Kane and his cousin James got into a late-night argument with a Buffalo taxi driver over a 20-cent change on a $14.80 fare in the summer of 2009, people began to doubt Kane’s maturity. Kane, then 20 years old, and his cousin beat the motorist until they ran away and were apprehended by police. Kane admitted guilt for disorderly conduct that was not criminal. The remaining charges were withdrawn.

After the veteran center was detained in May 2015 at the border between the United States and Canada on suspicion of illegally possessing the opioid oxycodone, the Kings canceled his contract. After Richards was allegedly taken into custody by the police, formal charges were made.

Following his trade from Colorado, the 24-year-old center signed a seven-year, $52 million contract with the Sabres. However, he was detained in Lucan, Ontario, for driving under the influence. On July 9, 2015, just after four in the morning, O’Reilly smashed his pickup truck into a Tim Hortons donut shop, according to the police, and then he and his passengers fled the scene. After discovering him strolling down a nearby street, police discovered that his blood alcohol content was higher than the permitted limit of 0.08%.

The Kings forward was taken into custody by Las Vegas police in April 2015 after it was alleged that he attempted to sneak cocaine and Molly into an MGM Grand Hotel pool party. The allegation against him was ultimately dropped from felony drug possession to two misdemeanors (trespass and b). He was freed on a $5,000 bond.
