The Los Angeles Rams‘ list of 2024 free agents, which was previously thought to not include many tough choices, may now end up costing the team far more than it was anticipated to retain in the long run. This is a result of Les Snead and Sean McVay’s ability to spot underappreciated players on the trade and free agent markets and then develop them into starters in a team that had previously overlooked some of them.

This includes players like Demarcus Robinson, Ahkello Witherspoon, Kevin Dotson, and John Johnson, who has five passes defensed and two interceptions since returning to the starting lineup five weeks ago.

Are the Rams able to sustain their steals? You have to pay them again for a job well done in bargain hunting, which is the luxury tax. This means that you are likely overpaying some of them for a career season.
