The Philadelphia eagles have just announced a shocking news

A.J. Brown, the wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, will not play in Monday night’s Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of a knee injury he sustained against the New York Giants last week. Brown, who caught nine passes for 131 yards in their third-round matchup, will now be ineligible for a team that is already struggling.

Although a few players are listed as questionable, all of the Buccaneers’ players are healthy. Josh Hayes (quad/knee), Baker Mayfield (ankle/ribs), and K.J. Britt (calf) are the players with the “questionable” designation, but Todd Bowles informed the media on Monday night that everyone is “good to go.”

Sydney Brown, an Eagles rookie safety, is also out due to an ACL tear sustained last week, but Reed Blankenship, another safety, is listed as questionable due to a groin injury.

Regarding the remaining Eagles, two key players for the offense—Jalen Hurts (finger) and DeVonte Smtih (ankle)—have been cleared to play.

The complete injury report is displayed below.

With the Bucs leading 3-2, this is the sixth playoff meeting between the two teams overall. 1979 saw them win before losing two in a row. Naturally, the Bucs went on to defeat The Vet in the 2002 NFC Championship and went on to defeat the Jalen Hurts-led Eagles 31–15 in the 2021 Wild Card round. This will be the Bucs and Eagles’ fourth postseason meeting to take place in the Wild Card round out of six total.

Monday night at 8:00 p.m., the Buccaneers and Eagles play at Raymond James Stadium. ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+ will televise the game. Tory Aikman and Joe Buck will be on the line.
