Linebacker AJ Klein has joined the Buffalo Bills practice squad in advance of their NFL Wild-Card playoff matchup with the Miami Dolphins.
Earlier in the season, Klein was a member of the practice squad and the 53-man roster for the Buffalo Bills (11-6).
Buffalo also released defensive tackle Eli Ankou from the taxi unit in a matching move.
The return of Klein has raised concerns about the health of another player, linebacker Tyrel Dodson. Is Klein’s addition a sign that Dodson might not play given that his shoulder ailment from Week 18 against the Miami Dolphins is listed on the injury report this week? or merely as a safety measure?
Dodson is probably not playing if Buffalo decides on Saturday to activate Klein or another linebacker from their practice squad before Sunday’s Steelers game.
