Nothing has come easily for either offense in the first quarter as the Ohio State Buckeyes lead the Missouri Tigers 3-0. The Buckeyes’ situation might grow worse when starting quarterback Devin Brown was spotted going to the locker room following what seemed to be an ankle injury.
After just three drives, the sophomore quarterback of the Buckeyes had already made his first career start. On a third-down pass to Carnell Tate, he seemed to have twisted his ankle. Nevertheless, he gained four of the seven yards required to convert for a first down.

Coach Ryan Day decided to call a timeout to help Brown along with the training staff after initially keeping the offense on the field for a fourth-and-three.
After the injury, Brown did make his way back into the game for the Buckeyes’ fourth drive; however, after their punt, he was observed making his way to the locker room.
Whether Brown will be able to play again in the game is yet unknown. But with Brown in the locker room, Lincoln Kienholz, a true freshman backup, will be the Buckeyes’ go-to man.
