The Golden State Warriors next game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday will be without Stephen Curry. Following a back-to-back in Chicago, the Warriors will be looking to win their second straight game after defeating the Bulls on Friday.
Curry will be rested by the Warriors against the Bucks, according to X (previously Twitter) reports from ESPN’s Kendra Andrews.

The Warriors (18-20) are now at a season-worst 12th place in the West as a result of their ongoing struggles. That being said, they are only one game away from securing a position in the NBA Play-In Tournament, with the Utah Jazz in tenth place.
Steve Kerr’s club is in a must-win situation because of allegations that they are being transparent about their desire to be active prior to the trade deadline.
The Bucks (26–12) have been impressive thus far. The squad is currently 1.5 games ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers in third place in the East, and only three games behind the Boston Celtics.

Considering Stephen Curry’s performance in Chicago on Friday night and the difficult journey the Warriors have ahead of them
Stephen Curry has tried his best to keep the Golden State Warriors afloat despite their recent struggles. In light of this, it is not shocking that reports suggest the franchise is open to parting ways with players other than Curry.
Curry has averaging 26.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game so far this season. He’s also shooting 39.8% from downtown and 44.3% from the field, all of which are lower than they were the previous season.
Curry scored 26.7 points this season compared to 29.4 points per game the previous year. This season, he saw a decline in both his field goal percentage (49.3%) and three-point percentage (42.7% to 39.8%).
In a similar vein, his assist and rebounding averages have decreased; from 6.3 to 4.8 assists per game and 6.1 to 4.2 rebounds per game, respectively, this season.
However, Curry scored 27 points and dished out nine assists in Friday’s game against the Chicago Bulls, which enabled the club to overcome a significant disadvantage. Before halftime, the Warriors trailed by 13. Nevertheless, the Warriors led 140–131 at the conclusion of regulation.
The Golden State Warriors will need to make a significant change in order to move from 12th place to a title contender now that the first half of the season is almost over. Things should boil up before the trade deadline if guys like Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson don’t improve.
