Very sad, One of the star players for the Boston Celtics was taken into custody after raping a minor.

The lawsuit of a woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted at Boston F. Antoine Walker’s house in 1997 was settled by former Celtics players Ron Mercer and Chauncey Billups.

According to yesterday’s Boston Herald story, Mercer and Billups—who is currently with the Nuggets—agreed to give the unnamed woman an undisclosed amount of money.

The woman also accused Walker’s housemate, but Walker has not settled because he lacks funds, according to his attorney Willie Davis.

Walker is listed in the lawsuit as well, but he has not paid. Although he did not take part in the alleged assault, he is charged with entering a bedroom during the incident.

Ever since he granted a motion to dismiss the case, U.S. District Judge Richard Stearns has not rendered a final decision.

Walker was not required to stop the alleged assault, according to a lower court’s decision, but a federal court reversed that decision last year.

Walker has countercomplained against Billups and Mercer, but the documents are under seal.

Nicholas Theodorou, Walker’s attorney, stated, “Antoine continues to defend the case vigorously.”

The woman claimed that after meeting the players at a comedy club, she was sexually assaulted in a bedroom of Walker’s Waltham home by Billups, Mercer, and Walker’s housemate.

There were no criminal accusations made.
