In advance of their Sunday night match, the Indianapolis Colts today made public their Week 7 injury report for Wednesday of the NFL season.

Due to a quad injury, wide receiver TY Hilton was unable to practice today. After going back on injured reserve last week, Hilton participated in his first game of the season but was unable to complete it due to a quad injury. Hilton demonstrated on Sunday how crucial he is to the Colts offense, so hopefully this is nothing too serious.

Due to injuries to his knee and ankle, linebacker Darius Leonard was unable to practice today. It looks like Leonard is still having trouble with the ankle injury he has been dealing with all year.

Due to an elbow injury, defensive end Tyquan Lewis was unable to practice today. Lewis has performed well this season and has been receiving starter-level reps. Lewis is progressing nicely this season; let’s hope that his elbow injury keeps him from playing as much.

defensive end Kwity Paye’s hamstring injury kept him out of practice. For the past few weeks, Paye has been dealing with a hamstring injury, and it looks like it has returned. Paye needs to recover from his hamstring injury in order to play more this season.

Correct tackle Braden Smith was injured in his thumb and ankle today, so he missed practice. Since hurting his ankle during the Seahawks game, Smith hasn’t worked out. Smith was observed working side by side with the head trainer of the Colts. I’m hoping he can get back to practice soon, and then go back to the game.

defensive end Due to a groin injury, Kemoko Turay was not able to practice today. Turay was forced to miss the Texans game due to a groin injury that he has been dealing with recently. Turay’s career has been marred by injuries thus far, and it seems that this year will be no different.

Due to an ankle injury, cornerback Rock Ya-Sin was unable to practice today. Ya-Sin made his playing comeback on Sunday following a two-week absence due to an ankle injury. Ya-Sin is one of the Colts’ best cornerbacks, and the team needs him now more than ever. However, it looks like his ankle injury has gotten worse.

Today’s practice featured limited usage for safety players Andrew Sendejo (concussion) and Julian Blackmon (achilles). Josh Jones may have been added to the practice squad by the team because having two limited safeties is obviously not ideal.
