According to court documents, reserve guard Jabari Bird of the Boston Celtics, who left the team in September after being arrested on suspicion of repeatedly choking his girlfriend, is now facing additional charges in the well-known domestic abuse case.
On Wednesday, he was charged with two additional counts of intimidating witnesses and making threats to commit a crime related to the same incident at Brighton Municipal Court. He entered a not guilty plea and was freed after posting the same $50,000 bail.
