Breaking news: Five Dallas Cowboys players were chosen to be on the NFLPA All-Pro team. Which athletes were chosen?

The Dallas Cowboys led the pack with five players chosen for the NFLPA’s second annual All-Pro team, which was announced on Wednesday. Nevertheless, Micah Parsons and Dak Prescott, two of the Cowboys’ biggest stars, were left off the roster.

Parsons led the league in quarterback pressure this season and recorded a career-high 14 sacks. Prescott completed his passing career with 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. Lamar Jackson was selected as the starting quarterback over Parsons, who was passed over by Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett.

Which Cowboys were selected for the team? Among the top players at their positions were WR CeeDee Lamb, LG Tyler Smith, RG Zach Martin, CB DaRon Bland, and K Brandon Aubrey. Bland led the league in total interceptions with nine and set an NFL record with five interceptions returned for touchdowns in a single season. Lamb’s 135 catches, 1,749 yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns set a franchise record for the Cowboys.

Aubrey made 36 of 38 field goal attempts, missing two of them in the season’s last week. He also made 49 of 52 PATs. Martin was the only Cowboy to be selected in each of the previous two seasons, while Lamb, Smith, Bland, and Aubrey were all chosen for their first NFLPA All-Pro team.

As the only all-pro team chosen solely by players, the NFLPA All-Pro team is chosen by current players. It is not allowed for players to vote for themselves or their teammates; instead, they can only vote for the position group they play in and primarily line up against.
