Soon after Michigan’s national championship, another super star announces their commitment to Ohio State.

The most well-known player on the NCAA transfer portal made his commitment to Michigan, the Wolverines’ bitter rival, shortly after Michigan’s victory in the national championship game on Monday night.

Former Ole Miss running back and native of Montgomery Quinshon Judkins declared his intention to attend Ohio State. Judkins (220 pounds, 5 feet 11 inches) has two more seasons of eligibility.

Judkins was selected twice for the first team All-SEC, having guided Pike Road High School to a state championship in 2021. He ran for 1,158 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2023, among his 2,725 yards and 31 touchdowns in his two seasons at Ole Miss.

Ohio State finished 2023 with an 11-1 record and a Cotton Bowl loss to Missouri. Although he hasn’t made his plans public, junior running back TreVeyon Henderson, who finished the 2018 season with 926 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Buckeyes, is anticipated to declare for the 2024 NFL draft.
