Great news: Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and Quinshon Judkins remain even after Judkins’ departure for Ohio State.

The biggest rival of the Michigan Wolverines, who won the CFP National Championship, the Ohio State Buckeyes football program, landed running back Quinshon Judkins, who was the biggest name left in the transfer portal, just in time. After two successful seasons for Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss, Judkins, a 20-year-old running back, is now leveraging his increased NIL value.

Any program that loses a player of Judkins’ caliber suffers because Ole Miss, the Peach Bowl champions, will miss his explosive runs, which are the foundation of the Rebels’ offensive strategy. Still, the head coach of Ole Miss football and his former valued running back are infatuated with each other.

Following the announcement of Judkins’ transfer to Ohio State, Kiffin expressed his happiness for the 20-year-old running back as he embarked on a new chapter in his career with two emoji tweets.

In response to Quinshon Judkins’ tweet announcing his transfer from Ohio State, Kiffin wrote, “👏.”

Lane Kiffin, a.k.a. “Momma T” responded to Judkins’ mother’s joyful post on Twitter with an even longer series of emojis.

The Ole Miss coach wrote, “💙💙💙💙💙💙💢👏👏🔥.”

Quinshon Judkins’ departure will undoubtedly leave a big void on the Ole Miss football team’s roster, but it appears that Lane Kiffin had a great relationship with the young running back and his family.

Kiffin’s ability to build enduring relationships with his players is one of the reasons he is able to bring in such high caliber players for the Rebels football program.
