BREAKING: South Carolina Signs Transfer O-Lineman From Oklahoma

Aaryn Parks is the latest addition to the South Carolina football team, thanks to Shane Beamer and his staff’s persistent efforts on the portal.

Shane Beamer and his staff wanted to place some players in the trenches because of the offensive line problems the South Carolina Gamecocks faced in 2023 with regard to depth and quality play.

Just three days ago, they were able to get Torricelli Simpkins III of North Carolina Central to commit, and now they have Oklahoma transfer Aaryn Parks on board.

Parks participated in nine games during his four seasons in Norman, ranking seventh among offensive guards in the 2020 recruiting class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Beamer was a member of the Sooners staff during the 2020 season prior to moving to Columbia, so he has a connection to Parks.

Pittsburgh’s Buddy Mack III (Walk-On) accumulated 17 tackles in four Pennsylvania seasons.

WR During his tenure with the Cardinals, Ahmari Huggins-Bruce caught 80 passes for 1,121 yards and 10 touchdowns.

North Carolina Central’s Torricelli Simpkins III won the MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Year award in 2023. 33 games in his college career as a starter.

DB Tennessee Tech’s Gerald Kilgore, the elder brother of Gamecock safety Jalon Kilgore, finished his rookie season in the secondary in 2023 with 37 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and five pass breakups.

EDGE Kyle Kennard, a graduate transfer from Georgia Tech, amassed 115 total tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, and 12.5 sacks in 42 games as a Yellow Jacket.

RB Jawarn Howell of South Carolina State: In 2023, he was named an FCS Freshman All-American after gaining 809 yards on 102 carries (7.9 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns on the ground.

DL Pittsburgh’s DeAndre Jules finished 2023 with 24 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble.

RB Raheim “Rocket” Sanders of Arkansas: In a stellar 2022 season that saw him named to the first team of the SEC, Sanders ran for 1,443 yards and scored ten touchdowns on the ground.

Oscar Adaway III, a running back from North Texas, averaged 5.6 yards per carry while scoring an amazing 1,935 yards on 344 carries.

In addition to these outstanding numbers, he had 14 touchdowns.
WR Jared Brown of Coastal Carolina: Over the previous two seasons, Brown has been one of the best wide receivers in the Group of Five.

He has amassed 1,534 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns on 108 passes, in addition to 439 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 35 ground plays.
