Bulls sign Justin Lewis to Two-Way contract

The Chicago Bulls today announced that forward Justin Lewis has agreed to a two-way contract with the team. Team policy dictated that the terms of the contract be kept confidential.

Lewis, 6-7, 245 pounds, attended Marquette for two years of collegiate play in 2020–2022. In 32.2 minutes over 32 games (all starts), Lewis averaged 16.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 steals as a sophomore. After his sophomore season, he was voted the Big East Most Improved Player and chosen for the All-Big East First Team. He finished second in the conference in defensive rebounds (217) and third in points (537) in the conference.

As a freshman, the Baltimore native played in 21 games for the Golden Eagles (with one start), scoring 7.8 points and grabbing 5.4 rebounds in 21.0 minutes per game. Before coming to Marquette, Lewis was honored as a senior by the Maryland Basketball Coaches Association First Team All-State and won three high school state titles at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute.

On July 7, 2022, Lewis signed a two-way contract with Chicago; however, on October 14, 2022, the team waived him.
