Heartbreaking news: A Special player for the Chicago Bears fired

For the Chicago Bears, this season has been a complete bust in every way.

The Bears have a lot of problems. They are currently 2-6 and appear to be a team that will pick in the top 5 again in the draft the following year. Two assistant coaches were let go because of workplace and HR concerns. Their starting quarterback is sidelined with an injury and has had his reputation unfairly damaged on national media.

It seems that we are expected to take head coach Matt Eberflus at his word when he says the organization’s culture is “outstanding.”

There’s no denying that significant changes will occur in 2024. I believe it is safe to say that the following ten players and coaches won’t be back the following season, regardless of how the rest of it plays out.

1. Head coach Matt Eberflus
For Matt Eberflus, the pen is against the glass. At 5-20 since assuming the role, he currently holds the lowest winning percentage in the organization’s history. Not much can be said here that the fans aren’t aware of already.

I believe that all people are aware that Eberflus is practically extinct. When will he be fired? is the only thing left to ask. Given that Chicago has never fired a coach during the season, the likelihood is that he will be let go right after Week 18. However, one can never be certain.

2. Offensive Coordinator Luke Getsy
You can bet that offensive coordinator Luke Getsy will be gone along with Eberflus. Here, the low-hanging fruit is Eberflus and Getsy.

It should not be shocking that they are both being let go. Instead of playing to Justin Fields’ strengths, the Bears’ offense has tried to make him into someone he’s not.

That Getsy was supposed to be the next big head coach prospect is long gone. Over his time in Chicago, he has completely undermined himself.
