Chiefs worst night mare; The Chiefs has encountered a terrifying situation as top commited player was found in….
The Kansas City Chiefs’ star player Patrick Mahomes is not the only one who is expected to miss the regular season finale. The defending Super Bowl champions will be reduced to shells against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday due to the absence of numerous other important players on both sides of the ball who have already been ruled out or are likely to miss the game.
But fear not, Chiefs Nation. When Mahomes and other former players go down in Week 18, none of them will miss Kansas City’s postseason run. The Chiefs have already secured the #3 spot in the AFC, which is the sole reason for the team’s extensive injury report.
The main players on KC’s injury report are defensive end George Karlaftis, linebacker Nick Bolton, running back Isiah Pacheo, and cornerback Trent McDuffie. All four have statuses listed as questionable for Sunday’s action. Along with wide receiver Kadarius Toney and left tackle Donovan Smith—none of whom have appeared in games in the previous two weeks—the Chargers will be without wide receiver Rashee Rice and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.
Josh Jacobs of the Raiders is highly recommended. Exactly eighteen hours ago, Josh Jacobs declared himself out of Week 18 against the Broncos Benedetto Vitale.

Officially ruled out of contention to play, Mahomes will give way to seasoned backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert in Week 18 as the reigning NFL and Super Bowl MVP takes a break. At least a portion of Sunday’s game is expected to be played on the field by defensive tackle Chris Jones and tight end Travis Kelce, with the latter’s 10-sack contract incentive and the former’s record-setting streak of seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards on the line.
Kickoff between the Chiefs and Chargers is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. (PT) from SoFi Stadium.
